Omniboost, a global leader in financial data unification and automation for the hospitality industry, proudly announces its enhanced integration capabilities with Oracle’s Property Management Systems (PMS): Opera Cloud and Opera On-Prem. This latest innovation delivers fully automated integration of daily financial and statistical entries between Opera PMS and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, revolutionizing financial and operational workflows for hospitality businesses worldwide.
Key Functionalities
Omniboost’s integration supports critical accounting processes for the hospitality vertical:
- Financial Journal Entry Postings: Automatically transfer financial data from Opera PMS to ERP platforms, minimizing manual errors and improving efficiency
- Statistical Journal Entry Postings: Enable automated posting of statistical data, providing actionable insights for operational analysis
- Room Revenue Breakdown by Market Segment: Deliver detailed revenue insights by market segments to identify key drivers of accommodation revenue.
One of the standout features is Omniboost’s flexible mapping structure, which allows clients to map their General Ledger (GL) accounts from their Chart of Accounts directly to Opera’s Transaction Codes. This ensures that each financial and statistical entry is accurately posted to its corresponding GL account, enabling tailored solutions for diverse hospitality properties.
Another powerful feature of this integration is the automated calculation of Guest Ledger, Deposit Ledger, and Accounts Receivable (A/R) movements. The system analyzes ledger balances from the previous day as recorded in Opera’s Trial Balance report, compares them with the current day’s balances, and calculates the movement amounts. These movements are then seamlessly incorporated into the Financial Journal Entry alongside other debit and credit entries. This functionality ensures precision in financial reporting while significantly reducing manual effort.
Robust Data Reconciliation
Data accuracy and reconciliation are at the core of Omniboost’s solution. Financial journal entries posted into accounting platforms can be easily reconciled with Opera’s Trial Balance report, while statistical journal entries align with the Manager Flash report. This straightforward yet robust reconciliation processes the integrity and reliability of financial data.
Dedicated Onboarding and Support
Omniboost’s in-house onboarding and support teams are deducated to ensuring a smooth implementation of integrations with Opera’s PMS systems. From setup to intial use, clients receive hands-on guidance throughout the onboarding phase. Post-go-live, the support team remains available to address reconciliation matters and operational needs, ensuring long-term success.
Transforming Hospitality Financial Ecosystems
By connecting Opera Cloud and Opera On-Prem PMS systems with accounting platforms, Omniboost reinforces its position as a trusted partner for hospitality businesses. The integration provides the tools needed to unify financial ecosystems, reduce complexity and drive operational success.
